KMEA? BOA? MSBA? What's with all this alphabet soup?

Different bands belong to different organizations. Also, some organizations sponsor their own Regional and National competitions. During its marching band season, the Beechwood Marching Tigers participate in competitions associated primarily with the following organizations:

• Kentucky Music Educators Assocation (KMEA)
• Bands of America (BOA)
• MidStates Band Association (MSBA)
